Friday Inspiration

Happy Friday Friends!

How has your week been??

I found out Monday that I have a torn ligament in my ankle, which is why I have been having so many problems with it. If you have been following my blog for a while you know the pain I have been in. There is a possibility of surgery in my future. But there is also the possibility of pain relief. Yes!

Let’s get on this though, so that you can get on with your day, hopefully with your head held high and in the direction of your dreams!

Inspiration Friday

Happy Friday friends. I found some amazing quotes that I really loved for this week. I actually found most of them while listening to a YouTube video of Stephen King speaking to some college students. My main focus in my life right now is making myself better. I am trying to make myself the person I see in my head. And the person I see in my head does a lot more writing then what I do, so…I have been looking for inspiration to get myself writing again.

Let’s not waste any more time then I need to this Friday, let’s just jump right in to it!

By the way, if any of you are wondering what is going on with the writing prompts…I swear I am bringing them back. I guess taking a break from writing really messes you up. I have a prompt, and I will bring them back next month.

Have you seen any quotes this week that inspired you??

30 Favorite Quotes on Writing

Happy Birthday To me

Yeah, that picture is going to be the first thing you see all week!

Hello Nerds!

You know, up until this week my birthday has not been all that exciting. I will be 30! And it’s a little scary because there are things I feel like I should have already done. Like…getting married and having kids. But did you know that the average age of a first time mother is in her early 30’s now? That makes me feel a little better.

I decided that I would make my entire birthday week something special because…all birthdays are special.

Today I have for you a list of 30 quotes about writing. Not going to lie, the first 10 are Stephen King quotes…because I love him! And the rest are just quotes that I have found through the years that have really helped me with my own writing. So here it goes!

Getting happy.”

Friday Pick Me Up!

Hello Nerds!

I’m a little late with my post today because…well, I got distracted with a book tag that I am going to post next week. It was fun and I had to do it…like now. I spend way too much time on BookTube!

Anyways, Happy Friday!! I actually have today off and I can’t wait to get reading…or writing…or wasting time on the internet. There is no telling what I will end up doing, but for those of you at work, watching the clock, here is a little pick me up!

We are going with a reading theme this week!

A friend shared this with me on Facebook last night and I am in love with it! It is now in a picture frame on my shelf above my desk. 🙂

It might sound strange, but I feel most like *myself* when I'm reading (or writing). I need to do both more often.

I love this because it’s so true. I know when I am reading a good book the world around me disappears and the words melt into images. It’s amazing!

I tried everything to get to sleep last night. Well, everything except closing the book and putting it on the nightstand. Let's not get too crazy. ;-)

I don’t know about you but I lose so much sleep because of reading. lol

This is what causes me to run out of work everyday, or wait until the last minute to get ready. It’s like writing, I don’t want to write I NEED to write…and I NEED to read. I couldn’t survive without it!

And just for a little inspiration…

want it more than you fear it

Let’s do the things that we need to, to get to where we want to go!

Happy Friday Nerds. I hope it is a lovely day, that the work day goes quickly, and the fun times last a little longer.
