What are You Reading?

What are you reading

Hello Friends! Happy Monday! I know you just don’t like Monday’s, who does? Monday is truck day for me so it is a long and exhausting day of moving boxes and trying not to kill myself on the metal rollers that we used to unload trucks. But! We have something awesome to look forward to, books!

This week I will start listening to Finders Keepers by Stephen King.

I can’t wait to dig into this one. It’s the second book in the Bill Hodges series. Last month I listened to Mr. Mercedes and that book was…crazy.

I am reading Dead Set by Richard Kadrey.

This book so far is fantastic. I find it hard to put down at night.

Minutes Before Sunset by Shannon A. Thompson

This book has been interesting so far, but I am not sure that I am really into it. I will finish it. I like it enough to finish the book, but I am not sure I will continue on with the series…We will see.

I have another book that I am supposed to be reading, but I just can’t bring myself to actually read it. I also have a few books that I need to read for the Author of the month. Hopefully on my days off this week I can really dig into them.

So, tell me, what are you reading?

Shannon’s books are usually pretty good, though I haven’t read that one. Right now, I’m reading Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson. It’s been a little hard to finish though, because I’m a fast paced gal (just look at my books lol). But I’ll get there : )

I have heard great things about Shannon’s books and I like it, I’m just not sure at the moment if I like it enough to continue the series. You know, the ever growing TBR pile, sometimes you have to pick and choose what makes it thought. lol

Red Mars sounds like a daunting book to take on. Doesn’t look like something I would want to read. I’m like you, I like fast paced books. How I ever make it through a Stephen King book is beyond me. lol

I just read the blurb for Captured and OMG! I must read that book. It sounds so fascinating.
I am a huge fan of Stephen King and will also be one of the first to agree that sometimes he can drag something out far beyond what it needs. But I found Mr. Mercedes wasn’t that bad and I am hoping Finders Keepers is the same way.
