Anime Review: RWBY

Hello my lovely Nerds!

I have been a little bad about doing movie and show reviews. I thought I would nerd it up a bit and do a little review on an anime show I just discovered.

RWBY is produced by Rooster Teeth Productions. Which, I found out after watching the show that they lost their head writer recently. Monty Oum, the creator, passed away back in February and I am sad that I didn’t know the show before he passed.

RWBY follows a few characters as they enter a school where they are trained to fight monsters called Grimm. Each character has their own special skill or special quality. And really, that is all you need to know.

I fell in love with this show after the first 10 minutes. It’s amazing. The art and style is just a tad different from what I am used to with anime, but I found out that this was actually done in the U.S. and is not a Japanese anime. Thank goodness I have a brother that knows his stuff or I wouldn’t have known this.

I have only seen the first season, but I plan on watching the next season as soon as I get a chance. The characters are all so unique and rather adorable. The show had me laughing and kept me interested the entire time.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like about it. If you have Netflix, you can find all the available shows there. Or you can hit up YouTube and watch it there. You can find the first episode HERE.

If you watch it, let me know what you think about it. And if you have any suggestions on other anime shows I should watch, let me know in the comments. I am always looking for new stuff to fall in love with.
