Disney Book Tag: Part 2 Disney Movies

As promised, another book tag to play with. You can find the original HERE on YouTube. Does anyone else watch a lot of YouTube book bloggers? I’m thinking about becoming one myself. I just don’t know yet. It could be fun, or I could stumble horribly. I always feel weird in front of a camera.

The Little Mermaid – a character who is out of their element, a “fish out of water”
Alison from The Immortal Rules. She is a human who hates vampires and ends up becoming one herself.

Cinderella – a character who goes through a major transformation
Cassie from The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. She goes from being this scared girl in the woods to the girl who is determined to save her brother and keep everyone alive.

Snow White – a book with an eclectic cast of characters
I’m going with The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. That book is chop full of characters from different times and places.

Sleeping Beauty – a book that put you to sleep
First Born by Ryan Attard. I had such a hard time reading that book. I actually did fall asleep trying to finish it one day.

The Lion King – a character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood
Umm…All the books maybe? But I am going to go with The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden did not have a great childhood. His parents died and the man who was like a father to him tried to kill him.

Beauty and the Beast – A beast of a book (a big book) that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful
Again, Stephen King, The Dark Tower. The last book was massive, which is like most of his books. I am trying to bring myself to read Under the Dome…but OMG!

Aladdin – a character who gets their wish granted, for better or worse
Rain of Ash by Rachel Judd! Gwen is looking for her sister, wishing for her return. And her return isn’t the best thing that has ever happened to their family.

Mulan – a character who pretends to be someone or something they are not
Let’s go with Cinder by Marissa Meyer for this one. Cinder is a cyborg but she hides it when she can.

Toy Story – a book with characters you wish would come to life
Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison. I want to meet so many of those characters, but mainly I want a pixie friend that always has my back.

Disney Descendants – your favorite villain or morally ambiguous character
Al from the Hollows series by Kim Harrison…what can I say, I really love her books. But Al is a demon who just doesn’t get the world and while he is a villain…you can’t help but to love him!
